Topsy Turvy Sweet 16

Girlishly stunning was what my customer wanted so I used pastels and the pink-purple combination to create this 3-tier topsy turvy design.

Made a curly "16" to fit with the overall design.

This was my first topsy-turvy cake - an interesting project. Very time-consuming and lots of cake scraps as I had to trim the each tier to give it a lopsided effect which was then tapered to be narrower at the base. The payoff was seeing the end result!

Took a pix before putting in the stars so that the topsy turvy effect can be seen more clearly.

Busy Garden

This 2 tier cake is covered in pale pink fondant then decorated with lots of cute garden deco - flowers, mushrooms, butterflies, ladybugs, bees, snails, spiders and colourful caterpillars!

The birthday girl loves to eat so here she is eating a cookie (as suggested by her Mom)
