Tigger & Friends

The focus is on Tigger instead of Winnie the Pooh as the little girl is born in the year of the Tiger.

A double height cake to fit the whole birthday message!

Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet

Cupcakes to complement the main cake. With a clean white fondant background, it gives an elegant touch to these cupcakes.

Mini Lightning McQueen

Made small enough to fit on top of the cupcakes, these little red cars are completely edible.

Famous Landmarks & Family

There's Sydney, Japan, London and Paris along with a hot air balloon and a baby boy.

Baby Bump

Cupcakes to match the main cake!
Purple & Pregnant!

I created some soft folds in the fondant so that it looks more like fabric.

Traditionally Pretty

When I was growing up in Ipoh, birthdays were often celebrated with a made-to-order homemade marble buttercake covered with buttercream and decorated with a shell border and pretty pastel flowers. A few sprigs of fern completed the signature look of these popular cakes. This is my tribute to that memory with my own little touched of the rope border and swirly roses.

Lots of Kisses!

Mickey Theme

I love the black Mickey ears on the red background - so striking and so Mickey!

Jake & the Neverland Pirates

A cake covered with buttercream and deco with 2D fondant of Jake.

Barney & friends

Lightning McQueen

My most popular sculpted car cake for a little boy turning 3.

Lightning McQueen strikes again!

As further proof of this character's popularity, this cake was made a week later, coincidentally for another boy turning 3 and whose name also starts with "J"!

Mater

My first request for Lightning McQueen's best friend!

The chain and hook etc are all made with fondant so are edible.
Whose Eyes Are These?

It's Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater!

Golden Roses

Cupcakes covered with buttercream using star piping for a puffy effect then deco with gumpaste roses airbrushed with edible gold paint.

Lots of Handbags

Handbags all made from fondant.

Fabric?

Made using fondant to resemble fabric, I love to create these freeform drapes.

The Battle!

It's the Angry Birds all ready to battle...

... the Pigs!

What a battle scene!
Tea Party

Alyssa with her favourite characters - SpongeBob Squarepants and Elmo. All tucking into a delicious fantasy tea party!

Surrounded by cupcakes decorated with both 2D and 3D animals.
A New Beginning

A window box with 2 cupcakes - door gifts for the opening of a new boutique! What a pretty name for a boutique :)

"Presidential Door Gifts!"

Snow White and her Prince

The prince reaching out for Snow White.

Wallet

For a boy into wallets, here is a wallet cake where everthing is edible!

Filled with a special Birthday Club Card, lots of credit cards and lots of cash :)

Flower & Butterflies

A pretty cake covered with fondant flowers and butterflies.
Favourite Activities

This cake was to celebrate 2 birthdays - my customers father and mother. Her father likes travelling and playing chess. Her mother likes going to religious classes and cooking. So, it's all here on the cake! All handmade from fondant and edible.

See if you can spot the various chess pieces, chilies, pestle and mortar, ladle made using "coconut shell", chicken and the most obvious of all, bananas!

Ferrari

Cake is sculpted to look like a Ferrari then covered and decorated with fondant.

Bow and Daisies

This cake was to sit on top of a tiered display with a hundred cupcakes below it for a wedding reception.

Longevity Peach

Cake is sculpted to look like the familiar longevity peach bun that the Chinese have for birthday celebrations.
