With the information that my customer gave me, I created this visual story...
This is the bride's box of cupcakes with lots of pinks.
She is represented with her initial "V" and a big glittery butterfly and has a sunny yellow trail of daisies weaving the way to...
The groom's box of cupcakes with lots of blues.
He is represented with his initial "E" and another big glittery butterfly!
Why the distance? She's in Malaysia and he's in Singapore :)
Put the boxes together and you see the whole picture. The other glittery butterflies are smaller for contrast.
I've added some blue cupcakes in the bride's box to represent the groom's presence in her life and vice versa for the other box.
AND...
pink & blue = purple, hence the purple cupcakes in both boxes!
Cupcakes are 2.5" diameter (big) with edible fondant daisies & hearts with embossed initials. The butterflies are not edible but will be a nice momento :)
Mahjong Big Win
A big win in so many ways! 4 jokers or all "big" tiles or just on counting the doubles alone! (Extra double with a full set of flowers too!)
Hantaran
The theme colour for the hantaran was purple and silver. The inspiration was English country garden so I did various pastel flowers on a purple backdrop highlighted with butterflies with a touch of sheen and silver bows..
Each cupcake was decorated differently to avoid a uniform look.
