Cake is covered with buttercream - the finish is not as smooth as fondant but to my customer (and myself!), the taste is much better!

Bikini in Buttercream
First time doing it in buttercream as my customer loves this type of frosting!
My previous bikini cakes are covered in fondant that gives it a much smoother and cleaner finish.

Red polka dot bikini...
When I got this order, the lyrics of this song played over and over in my head
... it was an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini da da da da da da da da da
so I had to keep reminding myself to make it red and not yellow! hahaha!
For added oomph, my customer also ordered 21 cupcakes with boobs and bottoms to be placed around the cake. I covered the cupcakes in chocolate frosting for a better contrast to the fondant decoration on top.
Her other request was to make the boobs big! I think I succeeded quite well, eh?
